Mezcalito/Sebastián and I
Armando Sebastian
Acrylic & Oil on Canvas

Since I was a child, I grew up surrounded by pets, which I believe developed in me a special connection with animals. During my travels through southern Mexico, I encountered iguanas throughout my journey across the mountains of Oaxaca. On my last visit to these places, I discovered the book “The Teachings of Don Juan” by Carlos Castañeda which changed my outlook on many things in life. That’s why I created this piece as an homage to my solitary travels and my encounter with that wonderful book.
